MASAGANA

Sustainability

Growing responsibly.

Our name, Masagana (abundant), stands for Making Abundance Sustainable. As the group grows, these are the aims we hold ourselves to. They are aims, not results, and we will be honest about our progress.

Our aims

  1. Fair sourcing

Buying Filipino produce and goods fairly from Philippine farms and makers.

Overhead view of a kitchen counter with tubs of prepared ingredients beside plated Filipino dishes.
  2. Local jobs

Creating jobs in the towns where our businesses open.

Two D'Cocina cooks smiling as they work together at a stainless-steel kitchen counter.
  3. Less waste

Cutting waste in our kitchens and across our supply line.

Steam rising from a stockpot as a cook lifts a strainer basket in a professional kitchen.
